Kevin Moore
Senior Inspector / Owner
Kevin Moore has over 30 years of knowledge and experience in construction quality control / quality assurance management, testing and inspection services, materials management, and project management. He started Moore Inspection & Testing LLC to provide companies with
the opportunity to implement high-quality, efficient, cost effective, and reliable inspections using the new technology of phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT).
Kevin’s interest and passion for ultrasonic testing led him to achieve Level II PAUT certification and invest in phased array equipment. “Once I discovered the new technology and the results offered by phased array, it blew me away, and I had to have one. Phased array is more accurate, much quicker, and helps easily identify flaws, cracks, inclusions, and porosity in the testing materials compared to conventional ultrasonic. With phased array, I can continuously scan at 45 – 70 degrees at all angles simultaneously and now clearly identify flaws, whereas conventional scans are limited to 70 degrees, 60 degrees, or 45 degrees. This new technology and equipment provides greater accuracy and identification of test results much quicker for my clients.”
Kevin believes in going above and beyond by delivering excellent quality and service to meet the needs of his clients. He is detail-oriented in his inspections and precise with exacting performance standards. He believes in establishing productive working relationships and openly communicates with owners, contractors, building inspectors, project managers, architects, engineers, welders, and project team members. He is well-known, respected in his field, and has earned an excellent reputation for quality inspections. Kevin’s experience includes multi-million-dollar projects working on private, federal, state, and local government projects including airports, ports, hospitals, schools, railroads, fuel tanks, fire-suppression tanks, bridges, pipelines, steel buildings, structures, and foundations.
As the owner of Moore Inspection & Testing LLC, Kevin is committed to providing excellent quality, expert testing efficiency, utmost integrity, reliability of services, and most importantly, a culture of safety in the workplace for everyone!
